Revised Assignment

I originally wrote this paper in 2021, as a non-degree seeking student in P S 5001-101 (scope and methods). I have since made some corrections to this paper, including: editing sentences to be more concise, editing the flow of paragraphs, and using more accurate language. I made changes suggested by the feedback notes and added more years to the study to increase reliability of this method. More details are included in the revised version as to how inferences should be drawn from data, which was the paper's main weakness according to the rubric feedback. Sections on case selection and measurement were revised to be stronger, and hypothesis statements were added to the theory section for additional clarification. I invite you to compare the original paper to the revised version, which demonstrates how my writing, synthesis and analytical skills have grown throughout my time in the MAPS program.
